A friend of mine once put a few shovelfuls of snow in her bathtub and let her (three or four?) ferrets play in that. I guess they made a gigantic mess, but had great fun.
Right now... no more pets. Four cats and three big (big) dogs in the city... the dogs take so much energy...
You're right, SK. Degus and Guinea pigs at least stay in their cages. Rats are so cute but so short lived... its getting harder and harder to lose pets.

I love ferrets but my house is not ferret proof... and may never be... Sigh.
